CEE Attorneys advised PZL Sedziszow S.A., the largest Polish producer of all types of filters which are designed for automotive, industrial and agricultural sectors, in its acquisition of 69 % share of BÖHM PLAST-TECHNIK a.s., Czech producer and service provider in the area of plastic injection moulding technologies and metallization, working closely with the “Tier 1” suppliers to the world’s largest automotive companies.
“For us, the acquisition of BÖHM PLAST-TECHNIK a.s. is an important step towards modernising production technologies,” explains Adam Sikorski, the President of the PZL Sędziszów S.A. “We intend to actively participate in the development of the electric vehicle network in Poland. This means that the manufacturers of automotive related parts will increase the use of plastic in production, reducing the weight of vehicles.”
“The first on the agenda after the acquisition of BÖHM PLAST-TECHNIK a.s. is to integrate commercial organisations of both companies. A close cooperation between the research and development departments will follow.”
“We wish to start our cooperation as soon as possible to utilise cutting-edge injection moulding technology owned by BÖHM PLAST-TECHNIK a.s.,” adds Adam Sikorski. “We are committed to it because, as a member of the Polish Automotive Group (PGM), we support the CURIE+ project, goal of which is building the first Polish electric vehicle.”
