CEE Attorneys had an article published in the May issue of the premium Czech magazine Lawyers & Business, summarizing and comparing legislative changes in reaction to the war in Ukraine across European countries.

Many European countries implemented new immigration policies, customs policies, sanctions against Russia and other legislative changes in reaction to the invasion of Ukraine. Almost every country implemented the European directive regarding the temporary protection of Ukrainians, but some countries decided to support Ukraine and its refugees in their own ways, for example by completely enclosing their airspace to Russian and Belarussian airplanes, providing financial support to those who decide to host refugees in their own home or accommodation facilities, or even providing free healthcare and psychological help to Ukrainian refugees.
